Mei: 11.2017. With sporadic resurrections. Cogwheel Crack is not a musical or "art" project (I despise so called "art" and galleries, and all of the self-centered snob artists) it's more like my diary ... a diary of a man with mental problems. I share my life experience with the world through my music and live performances. I prefer to perform at clubs, bars and parties, where I can get physical with the crowd and people get involved in the music. That's why I decided to end the project: most clubs and bars refuse to let me in. With few exceptions when I was invited to perform again.     

? : Why masks?

Mei : Since the day I first saw my face in the mirror as a child I realize that this is not my real face. This physical face is made by other people by their genes, their desires and views of the world and they are not mine. I refuse to be judged by the thing that I have no control over. So I'm using masks, clothes and voice modification to express the real me and my views. That's why I hate art ... in art people pretend to be something or someone that they are not ... in my case this is the real me.
