" I became Hyperdriver in 1998. Previously I had been doing noisy stuff in various genres and decided to bring it all into one project. I had just done a track called Hyperdriver and liked the name. I really hate genres, but I guess Breakcore is the best one to put Hyperdriver in.

I initially released on my own label, the now Beergut Recordings, which I had to close down for personal reasons. I have a long relationship with Canada’s D-Trash Records, run by Schizoid, and more recently with ENDE Records from Australia, run by Noistruct.  LOADS of free releases on both labels and the quality is fantastic. Except for Hyperdriver of course. I am always horrible. "

" If you want to experience Hyperdriver, the new album “Now That’s What I Call Hyperdriver – Noisy Distorted Bastard 2” on D-Trash Records is a good place to start. OK there is no good place to start with Hyperdriver but It’s a place to start. Then listen to “Born in ‘59” on ENDE Records. Because I was. Born in ’59 that is.

I am terrible at collecting my own stuff so really don’t know how many releases I have done, but as Hyperdriver (I have other projects) it is over 25, not including compilation releases. "
