I got the name 'jawhinge' from a picture I found online when I was 15. It was a grattage work depicting a weird character with a gaping mouth. It had a filename that went like hinge_jaw_tshirt or something similar. I wanted to get this out there since people ask me and I'm too lazy or awkward to explain. I'd like to put it online so there you go. 

I don't have a film camera, I don't do stimulants and I don't deify David Lynch which pretty much disqualifies me from what people call an "artst" around here. So I'm used to not seeing myself as such. I just like to explore technology and techniques. I also can't play anything well. 
 

Any of my works, be it visual, musical or whatever string of words, are just my best effort at the time to externalize my human experience in a way that satisfies me specifically. That's why I usually go 100% DIY.  The fact that other people appreciate it too makes me so happy only because that was never my aim. 

While you're reading this text I've already steered my musical ship in a whole different and much more aggressive direction. If that's to your liking I'll see you on the other side this fall with a new album.
