" I'm an analog & digital collage artist who's originally from the Netherlands, but has been lurking about in Estonia for quite a while now. I stumbled into the world of collage by pure chance back in 2017 and the medium has held me firmly in its grip ever since.

My work explores the boundaries that separate reality from fiction, memory from forgetfulness, and the world of dreams from the world of nightmares. The constant tension between these opposing elements  gives birth to surreal images representing fragments of familiar worlds that have been twisted out of shape and invaded by something dark and alien. In a sense, I'm trying to emulate the way in which our subconscious mind generates the worlds we explore in our dreams with my collages. A fair number of my collages are direct representations of locales or creatures I've encountered in my dreams.

My work is also very strongly influenced by vintage paranormal photography, the artwork accompanying old-school pulp horror and sci-fi stories (as well as b-movie posters), the album artwork of old minimal synth/post-punk/new wave records from the 80s, and all that sort of good stuff.

Aside from my own artistic endeavors as a collage artist, I've also spent the past few years running the indie (web)zine Semioculus & curating the content on its Instagram page. Semioculus is a publication dedicated to dark, surreal, and dreamlike artwork of all sorts. Think of it as spreading nightmares as a form of community service. "
